Starting With the Basics


For my first official blog post I decided to start with a classic. And what is more basic and classic than a white button down shirt and jeans. I love the casual breeziness of this look and the fact that is it a true classic staple.
I decided to amp up this look with a bold red lip and a large floppy hat.  This look is also perfect for this springtime, when the weather is nice but you're not quite ready for shorts and a tank just yet.  One thing you should know about me now, is that I always like to have fun with style. Whether it's fun prints, statement accessories, or bold makeup I will always do my best to bring my look up a notch but still feel comfortable and confident in my look.

Because honestly it doesn't matter if you are wearing the most basic or out there thing, if you wear it with confidence you will always shine!

P.S. Here is an extra pic of me cheesing it! Its a blury and off centered pictured but its just a simple reminder that blogging and fashion should always be fun and its ok to not always look perfect and put together. :)

My Fall Break: Doing All Things Autumn in One Weekend

Ya this is about a week late, sorry but I've been pretty busy (sadly my senior thesis isn't going to write itself) But I did recently have a great Fall Break back in Ohio. During this break I succeeded in my goal to do all things Fall related. I arrived Friday night, so first on Saturday I went to the farmers market with my friend Jess. Also on Saturday my dad and I went to the Ohio State game (my first time actually attending an OSU game if you can believe it). It was so much fun we walked around beforehand and checked out the tailgating scene. Going to Loyola I miss out on football tailgating so it was great to experience it. Why Galantines Day is so Important

Hey Y'all I hope everyone had a great weekend. Whether you spent it with a significant other, friends, family or just enjoying some me time, I hope it was full of love. Even though the day itself has passed I still wanna talk about why I think Galantines (or as some say Palentines) Day is important to me. I didn't do anything special on actual Galentines or Valentines Day because they were both during the week and I had some exams that week. Although getting free chocolate in all of my classes was a nice perk. My friends and I decided to celebrate this past weekend. First on Friday we went to an escape room downtown called the Escape Game which was so much fun! We got out of the room with a minute to spare :) Also that weekend we saw the movie "Isn't it Romatic" which is a parody of all the Rom Coms we know and love.
