It’s that time of year again. That short period between Spring and Summer when the weather is absolutely perfect. Something you will realize about me with this blog is that I am completely obsessed with the off the shoulder look (even before it was a trend, might I add). I love this look so much it is the perfect laid back romantic summer/spring staple. This shirt and pants go great together because of the small amount of burgundy in the pattern of the shirt that matches the pants perfectly.  I also decided to have some fun with my makeup with some bright colorful shadow. I am by no means a makeup guru but I still like to have fun with makeup and experiment with new colors. What is your favorite thing about this time of year? The weather? The style? School ending? Song of the Week: Malibu~Miley Cyrus. I know i’m pretty shocked by this too. But it's a catchy feel good tune and I’m pretty sure this will be my song of the summer. Currently Reading: The Hobbit. I started it over Easter and now that finals are over I’ve finally had time to read it. I’m loving it so far, this is the pinnacle of an epic fantasy adventure. Also I have been reading a lot of contemporary novels recently so this is a nice change of pace. For my first official blog post I decided to start with a classic. And what is more basic and classic than a white button down shirt and jeans. I love the casual breeziness of this look and the fact that is it a true classic staple. I decided to amp up this look with a bold red lip and a large floppy hat.  This look is also perfect for this springtime, when the weather is nice but you're not quite ready for shorts and a tank just yet.  One thing you should know about me now, is that I always like to have fun with style. Whether it's fun prints, statement accessories, or bold makeup I will always do my best to bring my look up a notch but still feel comfortable and confident in my look. Because honestly it doesn't matter if you are wearing the most basic or out there thing, if you wear it with confidence you will always shine!  Tell me some of your favorite classic pieces?
