Savannah Ooh-Na-Na

Well its almost time for classes to start and that means it is almost time to say goodbye to say goodbye to peach flavored everything and say hello to pumpkin flavored everything. Before going back to Chicago and the Midwest I spent a great day in my favorite southern city Savannah, Georgia. Savannah is one of my favorite places for a day trip and this trip did not disappoint. My mom and I decided to go on Sunday, partially because that was the day that worked best with our schedules also because we wanted a great brunch! We had brunch at this great place called B. Matthews where I got a veggie scramble (with goat cheese YUM!) and of course its not brunch without a cocktail and instead of my usual mimosa I opted for a strawberry basil bellini which was so refreshing in the Georgia heat. After brunch we browsed through all the shops on Broughton St, our mutual favorite definitely being the Paris Market shop and cafe. The store was beautiful and had amazing jewelry, accessories,

Summer Favorites

As much as we hate to admit it, Summer is almost over and Fall will be here before we know it (low-key excited for all things pumpkin). So I decided to compile a list of some of my favorite things from this summer such as books, movies, fashion, etc. Also i realized having a list of all of the movies, TV shows, and books really helped me remember everything I read and saw. Ok on to the list! Favorite TV Show : This is Us Season 2. Ya I know I was really late with this season but ah its so good this show just gets better and better. A warning for anyone who hasn't seen it though, it is an emotional rollercoaster. This is Us Favorite Movie : Avengers Infinity War, Won't you be my Neighbor: Ok this is actually a tie between two very different movies. Avengers was a fun ride from beginning to end and you know I'm always going to enjoy a good Marvel movie! I was surprised how much I enjoyed the Mr. Rogers documentary. Even though I didn't really grow up watching Mr

August Bullet Journal + Monthly Intentions

Source Can you believe it is already August! This Summer really flew by for me and I can't believe I am starting my senior year of college this month. While it seems like I spent a majority of my summer working and sleeping I did make a lot of great memories with family and friends. For some reason when I was thinking of a theme for this month's bullet journal spread I was really drawn to doing Mario and Nintendo characters (maybe I just really wanted to draw Kirby, I'm honestly not sure) either way I'm actually really happy how it turned out. This spread even inspired me to break out my old Nintendo DS  :) I stuck with a lot of the same pages I've used in past months. Including bringing back a Daily Positivity page and a Mood Tracker as I have found both beneficial in the past. Ive also added some new items to my habit tracker including tracking how many nights I remember to take my makeup off before bed, which is something I really need to work on.
