Fast Times February

Image
Hey Y'all Can't believe we are almost at the halfway point in February. That always seems to be the case, January moves at a glacier pace and February is here and gone before we know it. I'm not going to lie, February is probably my LEAST favorite month of the year, I'm pretty sure its the weather. Also besides Val/Galentines Day not much happens this month. But I am still determined to enjoy it (even with this crummy weather). Since February goes back so fast I'm going to challenge myself to slow down and appreciate my surroundings. I'm hoping that buy slowing down I'll appreciate the little things in my day to day and maybe have some more time for myself as opposed to rushing from one thing to the next. But I also want this to be a fun month! So far this month I have a nostalgic fest at a We the Kings Concert, survived the polar vortex, went to a job event at the Art Institute (My Dream!) and am currently gearing up for Galentines Day with my frien...

Hello October and Halloween Decor

Image
Its finally October and you know what that means...it's time to get spooky y'all! I love holidays and all things festive, so you know I'm gonna go all out this month for Halloween. My bullet journal is the same as it was last month so I'm not really going to talk about that but here is my cover page with my usual doodles that look like they were done by a 6 year old. One addition though that I thought would be fun is that I decided to try to watch one Simpsons Treehouse of Horror episode each day in October (I think there are about 30) and I have that in my habit tracker. So lets see if I can actually accomplish this along with the huge list of other Halloween specials and movies I just HAVE to watch each year. Now onto the decorations! Maybe in a later blog post I will do an official apartment tour but for now I'm solely focusing on my Halloween decor. I have decorated my room as well as the living room area of my apartment. Most of the decorations are from Tar...

The Countdown Begins: December Bullet Journal

Image
Please tell me I'm not the only one who woke up on December 1st and thought to myself 'It's the first day of Christmas!' This is truly my favorite time of the year and I plan to cherish and enjoy everything single day (yes even the days when I am about to mentally lose it over finals). I of course wanted a cheerful and festive spread for my monthly bullet journal. I stuck to most of the same pages as I have previously done. I quite enjoy filling in my daily tracker, keeping a Weekly To Do List, and having a list of possible blog ideas. I did a pretty good job of keeping my bullet journal up to date last month. The only page I had issues with was the budget page (shocker shocker). This month I hope to keep better track of it and record every purchase in the journal. I have also included a Christmas Bucket List which of course will be added to as the month progresses. I'm so excited for this month and to celebrate with my friends and family and just enjoy all ...

No Gloom November: Bullet Journal

Image
Another month has come and past, which means its time for another bullet journal spread. I apologize that I have not posted any pictures of my costume from Halloween, but I did not like how any of the pictures turned out. But now that its November I can prepare for two of my favorite holidays, Christmas and....Christmas Eve! I'm just kidding Thanksgiving I love you (almost) as much. For this journal I kept a lot of the same pages I used last month, because they actually did a great job of keeping me organized and on track with my habits and spending. So once again I have a habit tracker, expense tracker, as well as lists of possible blog posts and daily activities and meals. (BTW please don't laugh at my Snoopy parade float doodle, like I've said before I'm not an artist). I have also added two new pages to my layout. One is a weekly to do list that I will add in with these adorable sticky notes. And since it is November the other one is a daily thing that I...

Hello October: Bullet Journal!

Image
Happy 1st Day of October! Time to get Spooky. Since starting school again I've been wanting to start a bullet journal, but I just haven't found the inspiration or determination to start it. With the new month here, I thought this would be the perfect opportunity to buckle down and finally start it. Just a reminder I am not an artist and I am still experimenting with what exactly I want to use this journal for and what kind of pages I want in it. So my doodles and prompts are pretty basic and hopefully over time I'll be able to expand on it. October is such a fun time of year because it is finally starting to feel like fall also Halloween makes it so fun and festive. So I enjoyed my tiny Halloween design and doodles. My main focus is a daily log by the week where I'll put what I did that day and what I need to accomplish that day. Hopefully this will make me more organized. Also I included a habit tracker that will track daily habits such as exercise, making my bed...
