My Favorite Stores (Plus How I Get the Best Deals)

Here is a list of some of my favorite clothing stores to shop at as well as some tips and info that can help you save money at these and other stores

1.) Francesca's: You've probably noticed that most of the clothes I have featured on this blog are from Francesca's. This place has the cutest styles and they are always up to date on the latest trends. Their have very decent prices, especially because the quality of all of their products are really good. It is literally impossible for me to walk in there without buying at least a pair of earrings. (Currently there is a sale, BUY 1 GET 2 40% OFF)

2.) TopShop: TopShop is my favorite clothing store in Chicago! (Sadly I don't have a full store in Ohio so I rely on the TopShop section in Nordstrom). The store has a wide variety from edgy to sweet and offers a wide arrange of price points. They always have jewelry items on sale that are a steal. Overall most of the clothes are great quality and if you don't have a store near you I recommend shopping on their website. (Currently 50% select items online)

3.) J.Crew Factory: J.Crew is amazing I love it so much great quality, great styles, I rely on them for my basic staples as well as workwear. Although it can get expensive, that is why I love the J.Crew Factory. I am not sure if there are any stores in Ohio but on their website you can find great J.Crew clothes and styles at a fraction of the price. They are also always offering deals and promotions on their website that can save you even more money. (Currently there is a special BOGO for shorts)

4.) ModCloth: ModCloth is my favorite place to shop online, because not only do they have adorable and quirky styles but they also have a great and simple return policy. ModCloth is only available online but it has a huge selection of clothes, accessories and home goods. They also have a vintage section which is to die for. My favorite section is their swimsuits. My favorite swimsuit is from their and I love the wide selection they have. Also you can order a bunch to try on and easily return the ones that don't fit. (Currently there is a sale on FREE SHIPPING)

Saving Tips:

  • If you are a student ALWAYS take advantage of student discounts. Everywhere you go whether it is a restaurant, store, or membership, never be afraid to ask if they offer a discount for students. Even the places I mentioned above (Francesca's, TopShop, and J. Crew all offer student discounts)
  • Sign of for email alerts from your favorite stores. I know they can get super annoying and fill up your inbox but they are the best way to learn about special sales and promotions. You can also receive deals that you wouldn't be able to receive unless you are part of the email subscription.
  • Take advantage of changing seasons and sales. If you are shopping and you see something you like that was just released, hold off on buying it for awhile. Odds are once even newer clothes are released this item will go on sale or clearance and will have a pretty significant price reduction. This tip can also help stop you from buying something just because it is "on trend" If you still like it when the trend has fizzled then it is a keeper.
