Hello October and Halloween Decor
Its finally October and you know what that means...it's time to get spooky y'all! I love holidays and all things festive, so you know I'm gonna go all out this month for Halloween.
My bullet journal is the same as it was last month so I'm not really going to talk about that but here is my cover page with my usual doodles that look like they were done by a 6 year old. One addition though that I thought would be fun is that I decided to try to watch one Simpsons Treehouse of Horror episode each day in October (I think there are about 30) and I have that in my habit tracker. So lets see if I can actually accomplish this along with the huge list of other Halloween specials and movies I just HAVE to watch each year.
Now onto the decorations! Maybe in a later blog post I will do an official apartment tour but for now I'm solely focusing on my Halloween decor. I have decorated my room as well as the living room area of my apartment. Most of the decorations are from Target (literally my favorite store for decor) and some are new while some I've been accumulating since sophomore year.
My favorite new addition has to be my Nightmare Before Christmas garland that lights up and plays music. But my little 'J' pumpkin is also adorable! My little pumpkin bucket is for my sweet treats (right now it is housing gum and a little baggie full of pieces of dark chocolate.
I'm so excited its finally October because to me its the start of all the great holidays (Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas) and I just love getting into the spookiness of the season. I also love this time because I get to bust out all of my cute sweaters, scarves, and boots
Do you decorate for Halloween? What's your favorite thing about October? Let me know in the comments!
